A new 50 metre long steel and glass canopy cantilevers over the Domestic Arrivals curbside, sheltering newly-arrived passengers awaiting taxi and limousine services. Seismic connections, gutter, drainage and lighting circuits were concealed within the steel structure and existing walkway surface creating a light, minimal appearance for the canopy. Upgrades included remediation of an existing fascia and soffit. The Domestic Terminal Building was originally constructed in the 1960s and renovated in the 1990s-2000s by other architects.
